The Marquess Superb Mattress is crafted with a double-layer pocket spring system, designed to distribute support evenly and provide exceptional comfort with every movement. A refined combination of Shetland wool, silk, and British fleece wool creates a soft, gentle surface while offering natural temperature regulation. Inside, a layer of bonded wool helps maintain consistent support and resilience over time.

Complementing the mattress, the Sovereign Divan Base is crafted with a robust wooden frame and 1,344 individually hand-nested springs, providing a strong and stable foundation for the entire bed system. Layers of natural materials, including horsetail hair, British fleece wool, and cotton, enhance softness and breathability, completing the distinctive Vispring sleeping experience.

The combination of the Marquess Superb Mattress and Sovereign Divan Base creates a complete sleep system where traditional craftsmanship, natural materials, and balanced support come together to deliver lasting comfort and exceptional quality.

    • In addition to enhancing the overall aesthetic, a Vispring divan provides optimal support and helps extend the mattress’s lifespan, thanks to the additional pocket springs housed within its sturdy wooden frame.

  • CARE & MAINTENANCE GUIDE

    UNPACKING YOUR MATTRESS

    • When your mattress arrives, carefully remove the protective packaging to allow the mattress to decompress.
    • The mattress may initially not fit your divan or bed frame perfectly. Do not worry—this is because the mattress has not yet fully expanded. Allow it to rest for approximately 15 minutes.
    • If the mattress appears uneven or the surface feels inconsistent, gently turn the mattress over.
    • Do not use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust or loose fibres from the mattress. Instead, use a soft-bristled brush, which is gentler and safer for the mattress.
    • In the event of a liquid spill, promptly blot the affected area with a dry cotton cloth.

    MOVING YOUR MATTRESS

    • When moving the mattress, always use a protective covering to prevent damage.
    • Keep the mattress flat at all times. Do not roll or fold the mattress.

    HAND-TUFTING ON YOUR MATTRESS

    • All Vispring pocket-sprung mattresses feature distinctive hand-tufted rosettes across the surface.
    • These are anchoring points that hold the upholstery fabric and inner filling securely in place, helping to prevent shifting and maintaining the mattress’s shape and structure.
    • Should any of these tufting points become loose, they can be easily replaced.
